We've been quite busy at Axosoft. Contrary to what you might think we've been busy with (if you read my blogs), OnTime 2006 is what has been keeping us plugging away. I can't share much of the details, but I did want to let you guys know a couple of the more concrete additions to the OnTime 2006 product:
- Massively Revamped Workflow - OnTime 2005 provides a nice little workflow to automate some basic actions with just the click of a button. Users love its simplicity, but power-users crave more flexibility. With OnTime 2006, the revamped Workflow will keep the simplicity while quenching the craving for power and flexibility.
- Project-Specific Functionality - Some users of OnTime track multiple unrelated projects in the same OnTime database. With the introduction of OnTime 2006, most aspects of the system can be customized on a project-by-project basis, allowing independent teams to more easily share the same OnTime database.
- Enhanced Reporting - Think of the wholly grail in reporting...that's what we hope to achieve with the next version of OnTime's reporting facilities.
- Source Code Control Integration - Not much to say about this yet, other than the fact that OnTime 2006 will have it.
- Plus a LOT More!
There is a lot more planned that I can't share with you yet, but be ready to be impressed. For those of you who want to see a preview of the product and plan to attend the PDC this year, stop by our booth. Axosoft will be at the PDC!
Remember, for all those who have purchased OnTime 2005 with Maintenance, OnTime 2006 is a free upgrade!
By the way, if you are wondering how OnTime compares to other bug-tracking systems, take a look at the comparison of bug tracking software page on the Axosoft web site.
