March 31st closed out Axosoft's 11th consecutive record quarter of revenues and profits. We've all been blown away with the results. Just at a time when we expected sales growth to slow down, we grew faster than ever before with more than a 60% increase in sales from the previous quarter and close to 200% from the previous year's Q1.
OnTime 2006 has been very well-received by customers and prospects. Since we released OnTime 2006 in November, we've beat every competitor when we've gone head-to-head, even some competitors we didn't expect (like IBM's Rational and even Microsoft's Team System!). The results have really been incredible and have been the accumulated accomplishments of awesome product development, customer support, service, training (which now includes online videos) and of course, sales.
So to celebrate and reward the awesome efforts of everyone, I decided to buy every Axosoft Full-Time employee an XBox 360 (finding the number of XBox's I needed wasn't easy, but that's another story). I gave everyone's system to them last night during an “XBox Party” we had to celebrate the quarter's success. We played Fight Night, Ghost Recon, FIFA '06 and Dead-or-Alive for hours, but the best-of-night game goes to Ghost Recon.
So if over the next few weeks and months you notice a little productivity slowdown at Axosoft, you'll know why. ;-)
