There have been a number of people asking about the lack of a 10-User Starter Pack in our new OnTime 2007 pricing. We've done this for several reasons. Currently, the OnTime Small Team Edition has a 10-user restriction, meaning if you want to go beyond 10 users, you'd have to first switch to OnTime Professional Edition for an upgrade fee of $1,000, then add the licenses you need for the additional users. To simplify things, we have eliminated the 10-user restriction in OnTime 2007's pricing.
So, we're only offering a 5-User starter pack for $495 with additional users priced at $199 -- no more penalties for going beyond 10 users and regardless of how many users you need, everyone starts with the low-price 5-user starter pack and adds additional users from there. Much simpler, and works great for everyone!
But of course, this does mean that the OnTime Small Team Edition for 10-user pricing (a smoking deal at just $995) will be phased out as soon as we move to OnTime 2007 pricing. Since OnTime 2007 pricing will go into effect starting February 1st, there's still a chance to buy the 10-user OnTime Small Team Edition for only $995 and still get the OnTime 2007 upgrade free! (and yes, you'll be able to add your 11th user for just $199 without a penalty as soon as we switch the store to the OnTime 2007 pricing).
So there you have it. If you've been considering the OnTime Small Team Edition 10-User pack, you have 6 days left to make your purchase before the OnTime 2007 pricing goes into effect.
By the way, on February 1st, we're going to announce the ship-date of OnTime 2007, which is coming up very soon! Stay tuned...
