Question:
How do I upgrade my current instance of OnTime to the latest released version?
Resolution:
When it comes to upgrading the OnTime application, we recommend that users first backup their databases in case of any problems during the upgrade process. The upgrade process is very easy and should not take no more then a few minutes to complete. Please be sure to uninstall the old version of OnTime prior to installing the most recent release of the application. All components of OnTime such as the OnTime services controller, the Customer portal, etc. will need to be uninstalled and reinstalled as well. Once the application is reinstalled the user of OnTime that is administering the upgrade will be prompted to update the SQL database to the current version that you are planning to work with. After the upgrade process of the OnTime database is complete, users will be able to start using the OnTime application with the upgraded version.
