    When adding or editing an item via Customer Portal, users get "Input String was not in a correct Format" error message

    Applications affected by this issue:

    OnTime 2007 Web client

    OnTime 2007 Customer Portal Client

    Problem:

    When adding or editing an item via Customer Portal, users get "Input String was not in a correct Format" error message.

     

    Temporary workaround in OnTime 2007 Version 7.0.1:

    This is an issue we are currently working on. The "Input String was not in a correct format" error message is caused by having required date fields in the field template being used in the customer portal or web interface. If you remove the required date field it will allow you to work around the issue currently while we work on a fix for it in a future maintenance release.
