If windows integrated authentication is now working for the OnTime windows and or web clients, then here are some points to look out for.
· Make sure the each user that is planning to the use the OnTime product via windows integrated authentication has the proper login credential to the local domain. If they are not logging into their workstations as the domain user, then this authentication process will not work.
· Verify that users workstations are part of the actual domain by right clicking on "My Computer" > Properties > "Computer Name" tab. If they are not part of the domain, then using the computername\username will allow each user to login to the application.
· Check to make sure that the user’s local workstation is not part of another domain in the local environment. If the local environment is configure to work with multiple domains, be sure to add the additional domains under the manage users window in OnTime separating them by a semi colon.
Example: Domain1\UserName;Domain2\UserName
· For the OnTime 2007 web edition setup, be sure to enable windows integration authenticate within the OnTime 2007 web virtual directory in IIS.
If none of the above points resolve the authentication problem, please be sure to contact us directly at support@axosoft.com and we can continue to troubleshoot this problem with in the OnTime application.
