Problem:
After entering the users email address and password to the
OnTime 2007 Customer portal, the login page gets refreshed and the user doesn’t
get logged in.
Affected OnTime Versions: V7.0.2.7191
Resolution:
We have added a new feature to the OnTime V7.0.2 Customer
Portal where External Authentication is possible. Check marking an option
called “Embed Customer Portal” under the External Authentication section causes
this login issue if no external authentication is selected. To resolve this problem using
the OnTime windows or web client, go to; Tools > Customer Portal > Manage
Settings > External Authentication. Under the external authentication
window, be sure to un-check the option called “Embed Customer Portal” and
restart IIS on the server where the portal is installed. If users are still experiencing
this problem, then be sure to contact our support staff via email at Support@Axosoft.com.
