I manage a fairly large development team that are geographically seperated and on different N/Ws. How can I set a range of BUG IDs for each team, e.g. Team A has BUG IDs 1-2999, Team B has BUG IDs 3000-4999, etc.

 Also, how can we import each set of bugs into each ontime database and maintain the IDs that were used at each location. This would allow me to easily see what each team worked on and keep the statistics seperated without much effort. It also allows the teams insight into what each other is working on.

There is currently no way within OnTime to set a range of IDs based on your user's geographical region. Also, there is no way with OnTime to merge the data into one database while retaining the initial ID. When items are imported into OnTime they're assigned an ID based on the SQL database. There may be ways to merge the data using SQL or another application you develop using the OnTime SDK, but these are not built-in features in the current design of OnTime.

Those both sound like interesting ideas for enhancements to OnTime, and if you think they'd make our product better you should submit a Feature Request in our Customer Portal. The next time our development team is reviewing Feature Requests they'll consider your ideas, and they may be implemented in future versions of OnTime.
