    How to create the securityToken?
OK, I'm just being oblivious, but how do you create the securityToken?  I see in the SDK examples that it says to see the SDK Help, but the Help doesn't seem to say anything about creating it, just how to use it.

    Hello Chip,

Which security token are you referring to in the SDK? You should be able to use any GUID that can be generated by any GUID generator, such as the one included in Visual Studio.

If I'm misunderstanding you, let me know and I'll find out the exact answer you need.

    Thank you,

    Hi There

Well I have the same question.

I have installed the SDK in order to install the "bug shooting" application that was mentioned somewhere in the forum. In BS I need to write a security token.

I do not have VS or other programming suites installed, where is the easiest way to create a security token, and where do I need to place it in ontime std to allow access?

best regards, and thanks for a GREAT application

The GUID token needs to be entered in the web.config file of the SDK.  There's a section in that file that describes where and how to enter it.

You can probably google GUID and find some tool that does it, if not here's one: CF0158AB-0857-4f51-9081-A77877A5D5BC

If you want to can manually create your own following the format of the GUID above, they're all hex digits.

NOTE: for security reasons you should probably modify the above GUID before using it, because it may allow others to connect to your SDK (assuming they have access to the SDK's URL).
