As an operator I would love to have a console application running on my local machine rather than having to have a webpage open in order to be "online".  I could minimize the app to the system tray and get a notification when a support request comes in.

Since our company is quite small, I don't have the need to field support requests full time, and thus don't have the need to keep the webpage open full time.

I totally agree on this one, as a developer which integrated OnTime SDK in my back office application I would like have PureChat SDK for expanding the current software...

 

 

This is something we've talked about here..I'll add it to our list of feature requests.

I have heard that the next release is in development.  Is this feature on the table?

At the very least we could have a setting for the operator console to NOT open in a new window... then we could add it to a winform that way.

I don't believe a standalone operator console is in the works for the next version...but we could add a setting (or just a checkbox on the operator login page) to not open in a new window.

I wouldn't mind seeing an application for this too, as long as it is kept light.  Sometimes I already have 4 or 5 browsers open at a time.  Having one more open just gets in the way.  Plus, if it is an App, it could be put down into the SysTray.
