    Hiding projects is broken?

I went to "Manage Security Roles" and checked off the projects I don't want certain roles to see.  I then clicked save.  I then went back in and found that all projects were checked on again.  It appears the save function is *NOT* saving the settings.  Any ideas on how to hide projects from security roles?

    My project tree looks like:

    Main Root
        Client 1
           Project 1
           Project 2
        Client 2
           Project 1
           Project 2

     My security Roles look like:

        Client 1 Dev
        Client 1 PM
        Client 1 Tester
        Client 1 BA
        Admin

I want Admin to see all projects and the roles of "Client 1 xyz" to see just the Client 1 projects and sub-projects.

    Thanks

If you are using the Web version, there is a known issue with the checked treeview of projects where if you just uncheck the child node without unchecking the parent node, it will actually re-check the child node.  You will have to make sure that all parent projects of the project you are unchecking are also unchecked, otherwise it won't save properly.

Does that include the main project at the top of the tree?

If I uncheck all of them and save then come back in and check on the Client 1 node (and sub nodes) will that work?  Otherwise, can i do it at the DB level (which table)?

    TIA

Yes, you'll have to uncheck the All Projects node.  You don't need to save it with all unchecked, though, you can just uncheck All Projects then check Client 1
