There was an error processing the request.
If I leave OnTime for 15 or 20 minutes I'll start getting this message "There was an error processing the request".  The only thing I can do is shut down the window and restart.  I am using the web app for this.  Any suggestions?

Sounds like your Session is timing out on the server, but the client should have a synced timer that lets you know a couple of minutes ahead of time.  What version of OnTime are you running?  One quick solution may be to increase the session timeout on the server.  You can do this by editing the web.config file in the OnTimeWeb folder.  Search for "timeout" and you should find one for the "sessionState" tag and one for the "forms" tag.  They are both in minutes and you can set them to 60 or whatever timeout interval you think is appropriate (in OnTime 2008 they should default to 60 though).

It is set to 60 minutes.  I am running OnTime 2008 Web (latest version).  I am running on Firefox 2.0.0.14.  The remaining time in the status bar is always over 30 minutes.

Do you have any exceptions in the Exceptions table in OnTime (you can check under Help -> Exception Viewer), or in the event log on the web server?  That message is also shown if there is an error on the server when it calls the web service.

These errors don't seem related to the problem you are experiencing.  The SMTP errors are probably caused by a notification or alert with invalid email address.  Do you see any IIS application pool recycling messages in the event log around the time you get the errors?
