One of the greatest new features in OnTime 8.1 is the new Management Console. It's a simple, visually descriptive way of accessing many features and settings within OnTime, and it's sure to make managing OnTime easier. This FAQ is designed to help you understand the connection between the new Management Console and existing Security Role permissions within OnTime. Q. How will this Management Console tie into Security Permissions that you've configured for OnTime?
A. When a User is logged into OnTime any Management options they don't have access to will be grayed out in the Console, and they won't have access to those options.
In fact, we've made it easy to find out which Security Role permission is required for each button in the Management Console. Simply mouse-over the button, and a helpful comment section appears which describes the option and tells you what the required permissions are:
