Hi,

I cannot see/work out how to link to pdf documents in a wiki page.

I have added the pdf doc's as project attachments but cannot link to them.

Inserting attachment only allow image files

Link button brings up a HREF link.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Dan,

There is no built-in way to display or link to a PDF in a wiki page.

Yet I think I've found a way to at least link to it:

- First, attach it as an image(by selecting 'More..' instead of any available images) from the wiki toolbar. That will display a broken link in your wiki.

- Then edit the HTML and find the <IMG SCR="link location"> section of code, and copy the 'link location' to your clipboard. Remove the <IMG SRC> tags from the HTML.

- Then go back into the wiki editor, select your text, and click the 'Create Link' button in the toolbar. When creating the HREF link, you can paste in your link location to the attachment, and it should link successfully to your file.

FYI - if this is an internal wiki the above steps work.

For an external wiki (ie through the customer portal) you need to change the HREF link to "http://www.yourwebsite.com/CustomerPortal/attachments/ViewAttachment.aspx?attachment=####"
