Is it possible to have an event that automatically updates the item each time you enter your work log.

I would like the items actual duration to reflect the time that is entered into the work log.

Sometimes the developers forget to select 'Update Item'.

In OnTime 2006 version 6.1.1.6338 we have added a feature under the workflow steps > Other settings tab where the administrator of OnTime is able to select an option called "Update Actual Time from Work Log?”. This feature will update the actual duration field by changing the workflow step under the edit item window in OnTime.

Hi David,

This feature was implemented in OnTime V8.1. You need to upgrade to our latest release then go into tools > system options > Item Detail section > under work log settings you will find the feature.
