We experienced a similar set of time out issues today which may be related. The only change was the latest set of Windows Updates (yesterday). Uninstalling and reinstalling those didn't help. We isolated it to the one server (i.e. the same OnTime database worked when hosted on a different server as a test). After a few hours debugging it and optimizing the database (truncating logs, shrinking, restarting), we found that disabling and unloading the OnTime Email Service from memory fixed the issue. (and seems to have helped performance.)
Axosoft: Is this a known issue with the OnTime Email Service? We have been using version 6.1.0.6291 since earlier in the year (and many prior versoins of it before that) without issue until now. Will upgrading to the latest version help? We would like to continue using the OnTime Email Service.
