    The Release Candidate for OnTime 2007 is now live:

    The following are new since Beta 2:

    New Features

     949- Added a system option to force users to store attachments either in DB or file system > system options
    1019- Added Multi-edit custom fields functionality
    1033- Ability to move items to other types for windows
    1678- Add CC and BCC to send email ability in OnTime
    1684- Added the ability to double click on email to open like attachments.
    1691- Added option how to display customer contact selection > User option under preference tab
    1785- Add system option to not allow adding of stored procedure picklists > system options
    1791- Import option for Incidents item type
    1814- Changed quick-add customer contact form and page
    1833- Add option to web setups for users to bypass IIS setup and just install files
    1845- Add help files in the setup

    Bugs Fixes

    1222- Sorting does not work on the Audit Trails Tab
    1312- Emails are imported with double spacing when storing data as HTML when using Email service
    1417- Defects, Enhancements can be re-named with no checking on length of the name entered
    1437- Switching pages in Audit Trail doesn't seem to refresh
    1444- Error received after field template changed to require date found field
    1506- Moving escalation levels up or down causes list to disappear
    1507- Trying to save global notifications does not seem to work

    1689- Edit workflow steps produces error InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'index' when selected next allowed step
    1690- Added content on install about authentication settings being reset on install.
    1691- Quick add is not saving the status field.
    1699- Windows client produces an error when an alert trigger is specified for the item number field
    1700- Work logs tab is producing an error when sorting by description field.
    1712- Admin user's login id can be modified
    1718- Email service is picking the first email account in the list when replying to an email message
    1724- Sorting by custom fields produces an error
    1730- Ordering the pick list value up/down it assigns invalid grid id to the item in certain scenarios
    1739- Customer portal allow anonymous access is not saving that field
    1746- Replying to an email is appending the RE

    I get the following error on trying to upgrade the database from beta 2 to RC1 :-

    Must declare the scalar variable "@itemType0sql"
    Must declare the scalar variable "@itemType1sql"
    Must declare the scalar variable "@itemType2sql"
    Must declare the scalar variable "@itemType3sql"

    Ok. Backup of DB uploading now.

    Some other info :-

    Running on SQL Server Developer 2005 (9.00.1399.06)

    This database was upgraded from 2006 to Beta2 - ie didn't go through Beta 1 stage.

    Iain,

    Support has not received your DB? I think we have figured out what the issue anyways. It has to do with case sensitive collation on your SQL server. Let us know if your server has that setting? This will be addressed for our release next week.

    DB definitely appeared to transmit ok. I can send again if necessary.

    Default collation setting on my SQL Server is - Latin1_General_CS_AS

    But on the DB it's SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS

    I don't think its necessary anymore. I can get the error with case sensitive collation setting. Thanks for the feedback!

    If I create a customer in the Customers Tab then highlight that customer and create an incident the record is not associated to that customer. Is the only way to do this is to create a field and have them select a customer from a drop down or something?

    If you are using the web edition then there was an issue with caching. It would always add the original customer you had selected when on the customers tab. If you were to go to the customers tab and customer x was already selected then clicked on customer y and add an incident it would put customer x in the customer field even though you are on customer y. This will be addressed in a future release. Let us know if that was your scenario?
