    wrong project group
    OT 2007 RC1

I had a project group ('betas') that is no longer visible in the tree. Don't know how I removed it, but it doesn't show up. That's not a problem.

But when the root project group is selected ('All Projects') and I click 'add' feature or defect, the project group of the editor is 'betas'. I've added a few items now and missed assigning them to the correct project group, and they are not in the list--and there is not any filtering.

I don't know how to restore the 'betas' project.

    Thanks,

    RE: wrong project group

Could you have inactivated the project?

Try setting the 'Show inactive projects' flag in the personel preferences area and see if it comes back.

Yes it does. It is the first one in the list. Seems like a bug that OT would use an inactive project as the default project.

    RE: wrong project group

You could work around it by setting the project in a field template.

But I agree with you.  The default project when adding a new item while on the 'All Projects' project should never be an inactive project.
