Can you tell me if you are using a custom field template for the OnTime Customer Portal by any chance? If you are, then the custom field template could possibly be assigning the incorrect project to the new items that are created. Please take a look at your custom field template if you have one and let’s see if you are assigning a project by default to the project field.
