Error processing request timeout message in the OnTime 2007 web client

To resolve the “Processing Request” error message in the OnTime web client, please be sure to set the application pool timeout value from 20 to 60 minutes.  .Net Framework 2.0 automatically sets the timeout value of 20 minutes which causes this problem in the OnTime 2007 web edition.

Here is how to change the shutdown process timeout value;

1. Right click on the application that you are currently using for the OnTime web client and go to properties.
2. Click on the Performance tab and modify the timeout value under the IDLE timeout section to 60 minutes instead of 20.
3. Be sure to click on Apply > OK and Restart IIS before testing this resolution
