    Adding in the dark...

When I add a new defect or any other item in fact I am completely unaware of whether I can actually add it to the currently selected project.

Ths has some unpleasent side affects.  In OnTime 2006 you could get to the bac button and try again with a new project.  This cannot be done in OnTime 2007 and the entire process has to be done again.

It is very important to us which project a item is created in and we do only allow items to be created in specific open projects.  There seems to be no way (short of changing the name of a project) to indicate that you can open an item in that project.

It seems that the add item (be it defect, feature, incident or task) can be clicked regardless of the project you are in.  I assume tisis because you can always select a project.  Users do not always know which projects they can add an item into but OnTime does as this is a security role function.  Would it be possible to prevent a user adding an item to a project when they do not have that permission.

Offering a back button probably won't cut it as a solution but it would help.  Or even having the error page have a drop down combo with the list of acceptable projects and a button that allows them to resubmit into the selected project.
