We are still in our infancy in adopting OnTime, but have recently moved to the hsoted version of 2007. I have entered some of our custoemrs and continue to enter more contacts. It *seems* that unless a contact already exsits that can be used to reference an incoming item (Defect, Feature Request or Incident) that OnTime will never go back and run that check again.
Scenario:
Customer: Joes Apple Cart
Contact: Joe@applecart.com
If I have Joe in OnTime before he submits an issue, the Customer is properly related. If I add him AFTER an object already exists, I have to manuallt associate the Customer with that item.
Ideal Solution: A task that can be run to recheck items for proper Customer Assignement
Acceptable Solution: An extension to Multiedit to support Customer Assignment (While here, why can I not Multiedit any darn thing I want?)
Also Possible: I am a toolbox and am simply doing something incorrectly.
