We've been using Ontime2006 with few problems but recently upgraded to Ontime2007. Having installed the new version, we've upgraded the database, we can log in using the windows client just fine. However when it comes to accessing either of the web based portals it just won't work. Whenever i hit browse in IIS or enter the web address ( using either the internal or external address) the result is the same, nothing displays, it just sits there trying and eventually times out.
I've tried the following;
1. Set ASP.net 2.0 on the default website and both portal sites
2. Checked that the config file exists by loading the respective portal config program then saving the changes once DB connection proved.
3. Checked that directory security for the internal portal is windows authentication enabled and not anonymous enabled.
4. Checked that directory security for the external portal is not windows authentication enabled and IS anonymous enabled.
5. Checked that the IIS wwwroot and %windows/microsoft.net folder is acessible by the system account for the local machine.
6. Checked that the IIS wwwroot and sub folders are accessible by the IUSR account on the local machine.
7. Checkec that default.aspx exists as the default loading page for both websites.
Any help you can offer at this point would be greatly appreciated, as i'm at the point of tearing what's left of my hair out with this.
