    Wiki for customers?

    Hello,

     I have been using Ontime2007 for about a year now both for my day job and moonlighting jobs.  I like the new wiki feature with 2008 beta version.  However, I have not been able to figure out why the wiki would be restricted to only users.  I would think the wiki feature would be more useful if used by customers as well.  I would like to hear what other users think and what axosoft staff think about the idea.

    I would like the ability to share the wiki info with customers but not all wiki pages should be available necessarily.  There should be security so that we could use the wiki for internal information as well as public.  Perhaps a public viewable like we have with defects/features/incidents?

    We'll be expanding on the wiki functionality in the future, and this is a good suggestion.  We'll be looking at this request for a future version.

    On a similar, but related topic, I was thinking that it might be good to have a restricted user for special customers.

    Currently, for some of our bigger projects, we give a customer a full OnTime licence. This does start to get expensive. The reason we do it, is because we want them to manage part of the process, eg: UAT and they then sign off through their user ID. We can also assign issues to them, mainly for approvals and testing.

    It would be great to be able to buy a restricted licence which costs less than a full OT licence and provides more functionality than the portal.
