Using Custom Fields in Reports - the Custom_xxx problem

When adding custom fields to a report, the custom field name doesn't seem to be available in the report generator. You seem to have to resort to matching the custom_xxx names against the Custome Filed list to work out which is which. I can't find much in the forums on this, so either I am being very dumb, or people aren't making many custom reports.

What is the right way to add custom field values to a report?

Re: Using Custom Fields in Reports - the Custom_xxx problem

You can look at the fields table in the OnTime database to see what each Custom_XXX field is which label in the OnTime application. The best way to locate this information would be to view the OnTime database in an SQL application such as SQL Enterprise Manager or the SQL Management Studio’s.

    Thank you,
