    Incident View in .Net Tool

    Hi All,

Is there a way to view Incidents in the .Net Tool?  I can add/change/delete Defects, Features and Personal Tasks, but the Incidents do not show up.  Is this a setting that I've forgotten about along the way?

    Thanks.

    Hello cjs,

Currently Incidents are not accessible by design within the OnTime VS.NET client. If this is something you'd like to have accessible from the VS.NET client, submit a Feature Request through our Customer Portal letting our development team know that you think that would be a valuable enhancement to OnTime.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you,

Re: Incident View in .Net Tool

This is the only reference I have seen to the fact that Incidents are not accessible within the VS.NET client!  On the other hand the VS.NET User Guide references the ability to configure Incidents as well as the other three.  There was also another forum entry specifing access to Defects, Features, Tasks and Incidents from the VS.NET client.  This got me really confused as I could see no way to include Incidents to my VS.NET screen.

In fact, I find that the entire VS.NET User Guide itself is very confusing as it launches into a full description of the OnTime products then when it gets into what should be only VS.NET visible/usable description it is appears to be still be repeating the Windows client verbiage.  In particular on page 19 it has:

    Customizing What You See

When OnTime is opened, the default view for each of the three categories of items (defects, features,
tasks, and incidents) is to see all items within the selected project.

Where apparently someone is not aware that Incidents are not included and they can't count either!  It sure would be nice if your User Guides ONLY address the scope of the document.

    Hello RKunce,

Thanks for the heads-up on that User Guide. I'll pass this along to the team who writes our documentation, and have them take a look for those types of references in the VS.NET client.

    Thank you,
