Hello Jeff,
You an I just spoke on the phone about this issue and were able to resolve it, but I wanted to briefly mention the resolution we found here in the forums for other user's benefit.
Jeff had a strange issue that revolved around one just of his projects. He called earlier today after doing a bit more testing, and he found that these issues were caused specifically when an Incident was created in one particular Project- seemingly his most-used project. He had a POP3 mail account which would create new Incidents in this project, which was crashing both of the OnTime clients, which gave the appearance of an array of email issues.
We figured out that there was a project-specific Alert that was the cause of these crashes. This field change Alert seemed to be using a field that was either renamed or no longer existed in it's same datatable after upgrading to OnTime 2008. By simply removing the Alerts we were able to stop all the crashes he was experiencing.
We're still investigating the reason this field label was somehow corrupted, as we've had no other reports of this behavior from any other customers who've upgraded to OnTime 2008. If anyone else experiences this type of issue- with multiple crashes revolving around one particular project(or alert), please reply to this thread with specific details so I can help sort out if you have a similar issue, or something else entirely.
Thanks again Jeff, let me know if you need anything else.
Thank you,
Tom Harder
