Hi,

I'm programmatically adding users to OnTime 2008.  However, I can not figure out how to set the user's security role.  Please advise.

Hello Clin,

There is currently no way to assign Security Roles to Users using the SDK. If this is something you'd like to see in future versions of OnTime, please submit a Feature Request in our Customer Portal and we'll take a look at the request as we plan our next version.

Within the OnTime application, you can go to "Tools>Manage>Users", edit a User, and set their Security Role under the 'User Info' tab.

For the next release we've added a method to retrieve the security roles from the database, and 2 methods to get and set the user's security roles.  We also changed the AddUser method to take another parameter that is a list of security role IDs to be assigned to the user.
