    Hosted Demo doesn't work

Hi: I am running a Hosted Demo and I'm having a problem running the OnTime Web application on certain computers using either Firefox or IE 7.0

It seems to be a user interface issue, as the users are able to login, the main page appears, but the Menu buttons (defect, Features, etc) don't show any option. When the Defect view is shown, the Add New Defect icon is enabled, but clicking on in doesn't pop up any window to add the defect. Pop up windows are allowed on the browsers.

One computer doesn't have any problem (full operation on both browsers), but the other users have problems. This leads me to think that I have something installed, that is required by the OnTime Web pages, but the other users don't have installed .

IE generate errors when loading OnTime pages, like:

    Line 2

    Char: 24942

    Error: 'projects TreeNodeSelected' is undefined

    Code: 0

Some other forum posts seem to indicate a relation with Javascript, but all computers have the same browser versions.

    Browsers:

    Firefox 2.0.0.11 (Support Javascript 1.6)

    IE 7.0.5730.11 (Support Javascript 1.3)

    Questions:

    1. What applications/libraries, etc are required to be installed in a computer to display correctly OnTime web pages (.NET, Java Run Time, Javascript, ASP.NET, other)

    2. Does anybody have a solution to this issue, as I required all users to have access to the OnTIme pages as soon as possible?

    Thanks

    Alex

    Re: Hosted Demo doesn't work

    Hello Alex,

    Sorry for the delayed response.

There are no client-side libraries or applications that should be required beyond IE7 or Firefox 2 that your users should need. Are you able to login to their user accounts using your computer? Do they get the same errors if they were to try to login to their account using your computer?

You can send me your Hosted URL, your working login, and one of your user's non-working logins to support@axosoft.com, and I'll login myself and take a closer look.

    Thank you,

    Tom Harder
