    Clients would like to export from Customer Portal

    Our clients would like to export all of their items from within the customer portal. Currently we are doing this on a weekly basis from the desktop version into excel and can become very tedious. Can you off any suggestions?

    Hello,
    The customer portal doesn't include the functionality to export data but you may be able to develop your own SDK application to pull this data from the database and then put into a CSV format available for download. You can then link to this as an external link from your wiki. Because this is an SDK application you would develop for this, it isn't something that I would be able to provide direct support for.

    Hi Plaveb,
    OnTime's export functionality is only built into the actual full clients so it's not available in the Customer Portal. If you want to develop an in-house solution to do this you certainly can since the OnTime database is open to customers with a local install. If you're a hosted customer you can develop something using the SDK to accomplish the same. Whichever way you go however, you will be using an in-house solution which OnTime doesn't provide support for.
