How does documentation fit into Scrum with regards to onTime

I have found several articles discussing where documentation fits into Scrum or Agile development.  What have other experienced or tried with regards to onTime.

    1.  In general should documentation be one or more sprints behind development and test?  If so, does that mean documentation should have its own documentation feature?  If not, should they still have their own documentation feature or would a task be better?

     2.  How is testing handled in general do they have their own feature or is a task the better solution?

     3.  In looking at the burn down charts if I use task and features, I can not view them in the same chart.  How are others doing this?  Not being able to view them in the same chart does not allow me to get an accurate account of hours remaining.

I have attended the scrum webinar, does anyone have other sources that they have found useful for setting this system up and allow me to flow and chart this data.

    Thank you,

     Karen

    Hello Karen,

    1) Tracking documentation in OnTime can be approached in a number of ways, and the best solution for you will have to be decided upon after considering all the other ways you use OnTime. I can't see an advantage to using either Features or Tasks- it would definitely be based on your own preference and organization needs. Either way should work equally well.

    2) Again, this can be approached in a number of ways. In my experience, most teams will incorporate the testing phase directly into their existing workflow, using the original Feature or Defect item. They'll create a couple testing workflow steps, and pass the item along those steps as the testing occurs- wihtout needing a separate item.

    3) You can view brundowns for multiple item types at the same time by using the Project Dashboard. Here's a link to a video tutorial on using the Project Dashboard:
