'Move To' access in security roles for user

I need to have a user security role that has the ability to move defects/incidents/tasks etc - but cannot delete them.

This seems impossible in OnTime.  Only the 'Administrator' account can move jobs/tasks etc around, if I make a new  security role that is an exact copy of Administrator without the ability to delete incidents, they have 'Move To' greyed out.

How can I get around this? a lot of our workflow steps are triggered via a move to (changning an incident to a defect via Move To) and we don't want to use Copy To as we like to maintain only 1 record per instance of 'something', but we don't want users just deleting incidents here there and everywhere.

    Hello James,

Currently within OnTime, 'delete' permissions are required in order to allow the 'Move to..' option. When OnTime 'moves' an item, it creates a new item of the destination type, and deletes the original item - therefore a user must have permission to delete the original item type.

At this time that is how OnTime is designed, but I encourage you to submit a Feature Request in our Customer Portal and ask our developers to consider this enhancement for future versions of OnTime. Here's the link:
