    Filtering by Comments/Summary Notifications of Newly Created Comments

    Communication between us and the customer is done through Comments of the defect.  Email notifications are already set up to be sent to the customer when a new comment is added, but we are looking to also send out a daily summary of defects which comments were added.  I was thinking the best way to do this would be to send out notifications based on a filter, however I can't seem to figure out a way to create a filter based on the comments.  Can this be done?  If is there a different suggestion in accomplishing what we are looking to do?

    Hi Jennifer,

    Filters can't currently search inside a comments thread since we store each comment separately and then relate them back to the item. You can create notifications for when comments are added but this will be an immediate email rather than a scheduled one so you'll want to build an email filter for yourself which you can check.
