  • Date filter for future dates

I have created a custom field called Target Date.  This is our estimated completion date that our Project Managers have set for our Defect/Feature which is slightly different than our Due Date. I am trying to build a filter that will show those items that would be coming up in the next two weeks, or month.   If I ...

  • Super Slowness Cause Found + Recommendations

I've been experiencing intollerable slowness in both the Windows client and the Web client using version 7.1.1.7329. Here are some timings: Click on any project in the project tree:  19-30 seconds. Double-click a feature, defect, or task:  19-25 seconds. Pretty much anything I clicked on took between 19 and 35 seconds.  ...

  • Re: Email Alerts Not Working

Hello Tom, Can you confirm that the Alert that Jason is trying to create should actually work ? It has been our experience that Filter Alerts only work when entries are changed. For example, if you have a Filter Alert set to run once each day and a Filter that returns entries that are Overdue, it will only send an Alert for entries that ...

  • OT2007 - Users List Pick List, Field Templates, and Filters

I've added a custom field for defects named ''Project Manager''.   It is tied to the Users List Pick List. During the process of adding/editing a Defect or Feature, this works as intended. The problem I am having is when I attempt to do a filter based on that custom field.   When adding a filter line item, I select the custom ...

  • Re: Allow on the fly filtering of items

Search on all fields would definitely help, especially for those who rely on custom fields. This might deal with half the cases I am thinking of. The only reason to not have this is if they are planning to give us more. Though, for the case where you want a range of values, or you are wanting to match some values with some fields in combination ...

Good idea, 'on the fly' filtering. I think the solution for how do do it can even be more simple. For a start, the possibility to select all colums in the 'Search for' field in the toolbar would help a lot. One step further would be to allow for additional search items in the Search for field. • Re: Allow on the fly filtering of items

I have been thinking about how this feature can be implemented in the current UI. One possibility is to add a tab along side the project, user and customer tabs. In this tab you can choose which items to use for the filtering (or searching). A good reason for putting it here is that these other tabs are doing the same sort of thing - filter ...

  • Allow on the fly filtering of items

I would like most of the power of filtering at my finger tips. The new user and customer tabs are partly heading in the correct direction, but don't allow any field to be used, only one each. The current filter system is only helpful for where the information in the filter won't change all the time. It takes too long to create a filter for a ...
