  • Setup - Alerts and Notifications

I've tried everything suggested and I can not for the life of me get notification or alerts to work. I'm going back to square one to ask this: Since I am using the single-user (and free) version of OnTime, am I even able to add Notifications and/or alerts?  I would like to have an alert sent whenever I add or change a defect sent to my ...

  • Email Service - gmail, inbox.com don't work

I'm trying to set up a free POP3 account somewhere (anywhere) and get OnTime 7.1 to work with it.  I've tried GMail and inbox.com, and can't get either to work.  I can download messages fine into Outlook Express from the same server where the Email Services are running, but GMail simply won't connect (requires SSL I think and isn't an ...

  • Upgrading from 6.1.3 to 7.1.1 breaks the “Edit Account” window in OnTime for POP3 accounts

Recently we have noticed that when users are upgrading their OnTime 2006 version 6.1.3.6493 to OnTime 2007 version 7.1.1.7329 the “Edit Account” window generates the following exception error message.  Error:  There is an error in XML document (2, 2). ---> System.InvalidOperationException: <ArrayOfAnyType xmlns=''> was ...

  • Email setup problem

My company uses Lotus Notes with Domino's for email and it's my understanding that OnTime does not support Notes. But I thought I could get it to work with my gmail account, but it isn't.  I've installed OnTime 7.1.1.7329, and the corresponding services package for email support, but I can't seem to get it going.  I've visited the Email ...

  • Re: Another email-not-being-sent post

I think I have at least a lead on the issue.  This is actually a client that I am doing some IT work for and it turns out they recently switched from one ISP to another.  The Axosoft installation was trying to send email out through an account (which still exists) at the old ISP, but is doing so through the new ISP's network.  ...

  • Re: Configuring the email accounts on MS Exchange Server

I have shown the steps I used to allow POP3 access for exchange - this is the only way I know of doing this at the moment - most of the stuff is related to configuring exchange. http://community.axosoft.com/forums/thread/11217.aspx

  • Re: Problem getting emails

Have you properly associated the correct project in your pop3 email settings section for the inbox that you are checking? Please verify that the default project is selected for the emails that are being imported under the “Default Values” tab. Do the emails get imported when selecting the desired pop3 email account from the email accounts ...

  • Re: Problem getting emails

The 30 day trial is a fully functional trial of the OnTime product. Make sure that the OnTime2007 Email service is started and pointing to the same OnTime database. Please make sure that you have properly associated the desired project when configuring the POP3 Email Accounts in OnTime under; Tools > Manage Email Accounts > ...
