You can indeed use the External Authentication settings to authenticate against active directory. It took us a bit of effort to get things working.This seems like a popular feature request. Hopefully Axosoft will make this a supported feature in the near future.

Unless I'm missing something, the documentation in Support --> Document Center hasn't been updated to reflect the recent changes that were made in 7.0.2. Can you link me to the correct document?

The necessary documentation on SSO is located within the OnTime 2007 V7.0.2 Administrators guide > Configuring OnTime Customer Portal section.

Tim, Thank you for bringing this to our attention -- we have identified that this is in fact a defect -- This defect only affects the new SSO functionality within Customer Portal. A temporary Work-around for this, is to edit SSO Contacts and check the ''Allow View Own'' options for Defects, Features and Incidents.
