Complete n00b to the forums here, so if this post is in the incorrect place, please move accordingly. Thanks. Also, I did a search for my issue, and did not find any other topics or reported bugs. If these issues are discussed in other places, please point me in that direction.FYI - I am using version 8.0.2.7604, and my issues are all ...

Matthew,
As the items appear in the Audit Trail, that confirms that they are in fact in the OnTime system. So I'm left with thinking that you may possibly have some filters enabled that might be blocking them from your view. Please disable any filters and ensure that you are looking at the correct project ...

Hi Tom, sorry but I couldn;t see an option to include a screen shot. I have sent this same text to 'support@axosoft.com' with the screen shot. Hopefully you may be able to find it. The screen shot shows both mine and my colleagues task view - with his showing Task id 7 - and mind not.
As you will see (hopefully) Task (7) is not ...

Hi Dragan, can you advise for what other reasons a Task, checked as 'Public' is not visible by another user (administrative authority).
(I have emailed you a screenshot showing the relevant task). The task *is* visible via a 3rd user who has only developer authority.
thanks

Thanks Tom. That's great.

In order for other users such as developers to see other user’s tasks in the
application, the actual task must be set to be publicly viewable by the end
users of OnTime. Check marking the option called ''Task is Public'' in the edit
item window of the task will allow other users to see the actual items under
that Tasks tab.
Thank ...

Grant,
The OnTime SDK Example that integrates Tasks into Outlook 2007 is not 'production ready' and is therefore just a simple example of how to work with the SDK and perform basic operations within Outlook 2007. Upon working with the example and modifying it to your needs you could include the ability to include/exclude archived and ...

Justin,
The sample has not been tested in a 'disconnected' environment, however, the sample retrieves items from OnTime and then places them in the Outlook Tasks Folder -- this would allow for synchronization with a PDA, as well as accessing the items 'offline' from Outlook on a laptop, etc.
I did not write any code to take into account ...

Justin, the Outlook Task Integration Sample for the OnTime SDK is just that -- An OnTime SDK Sample. This does not mean that Axosoft has official or unofficial intentions to integrate the OnTime Suite into the Microsoft Office Suite. This sample show cases some of the finer functionalities that a developer can use the OnTime SDK ...

This is an OnTime 2007 SDK Example which shows how one can import MS Project Tasks into OnTime as OnTime Tasks or Features.

David Higgins, one of the Axosoft developers working on various projects, has put up a great new OnTime SDK sample showing how you can integrate OnTime 2007 and Outlook 2007 tasks. Updaing tasks in one place automatically updates the other, even OnTime specific fields show up in Outlook. This sample is really great and includes all the ...

This thread exists for the discussion of the OnTime 2007 SDK Outlook Task Sample, which I recently wrote a blog post about. Feel free to ask questions, discuss 'outlook addin best practices' and anything else related to this sample resource here.

As the newest member of the Axosoft Team, I've spent quite a good deal of time getting acquainted with the OnTime Product Suite. I've come to find that I'm totally digging the OnTime SDK, and I thought that one of my first OnTime SDK projects should be something that everyone's been asking for ... so, I hope I've accomplished at least one of ...

This is an OnTime SDK Sample showing how to integrate your OnTime Tasks
into Outlook -- requires Visual Studio Tools for Office 2005 SE,
Outlook 2007 and the OnTime SDK (V7.0.2+)

Unfortunately, this is not a current feature within the OnTime 2007 system -- the TaskID generated is always going to be the highest TaskID plus one.
